Alexandr Matt's path to criminal defense began during his college years in Madison, where he earned degrees in journalism and political science. While working as a student reporter, he spent a semester covering court proceedings and found himself drawn to the intensity and significance of the courtroom environment. After college, he moved to New York City and worked as a paralegal, gaining hands-on legal experience and confirming his decision to become an attorney.
